Make Me One With Everything  |  Upcoming Fall 2007

 

A sound installation and performance work based on the sounds and stories of street vendors in Lower Manhattan, to be performed on sidewalks and in public plazas where commercial vending has been restricted. Conceived by Stephanie Skaff and developed in collaboration with composer Paul Damian Hogan. Make Me One With Everything will be made possible, in part, by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council with the generous support of The September 11th Fund.

A site-specific performance installation based on interviews with a machine specialist and conversationalist who lives and works near Gowanus, Brooklyn. Site, sound, movement and text trace the history of a friendship and takes a fragmented walk down memory lane. Conceived by Stephanie Skaff and developed with Johanna Linsley (direction), Paul Damian Hogan (original music/sound), Kelly Kivland (choreography), Nathan F.
